ARTIST STATEMENT
I am a fine art photographer drawn to spaces shaped by human presence—interiors, architecture, and objects that provide optimism, trepidation, emotional residue, or endurance.
My work centers on stillness and psychological atmosphere: places that feel suspended between expectation and reality, purpose and absence. I photograph what lingers in built environments—what a room holds, what it withholds, and what the viewer brings into the silence.
Currently, my collections explore time in four emotional states: Emergence reflects growth and the opportunity to be seen. Threshold captures the tension and anticipation—moments before the action occurs. What Remains focuses on the aftermath—what stands after the purpose has passed. Finally, Road Relics reflects the enduring persistence—the quiet strength — of the classic American Automobile.
My photographs are less about today and more about the subject's evolution at various points in its cycle.
